BigWish connects users seeking labor services ("Seekers") with individuals or businesses providing such services ("Helpers"). Services include but are not limited to handyman services, cleaning, plumbing, carpeting, gardening, snow mowing, and other labor-related tasks, with a primary focus on cleaning.
BigWish currently operates exclusively within Canadian provinces.
2. User Responsibilities
- All users must maintain professional and respectful communication. Inappropriate language, harassment, or unprofessional behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Helpers and Seekers must only meet or engage in services after scheduling an appointment through the App.
3. Account Requirements
To use BigWish, you must create an account by providing:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Location
Account verification is completed via an email verification code.
4. Payments and Fees
- Payments for services are determined and handled directly between the Seeker and Helper.
- BigWish does not provide an in-app payment system.
- Seekers and Helpers are responsible for deciding payment methods, including but not limited to cash transactions.
- BigWish does not offer a refund policy and is not responsible for any disputes arising from payments.
5. Content and Conduct Guidelines
- Users must not use offensive, inappropriate, or illegal language or behavior on the App.
- Content shared on the App must be accurate and relevant to the intended purpose of connecting Seekers with Helpers.
- BigWish reserves the right to block users who violate these guidelines.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
BigWish acts solely as a platform to connect Seekers and Helpers.
- BigWish is not responsible for the quality of services provided by Helpers or for any communication or agreements made between Seekers and Helpers.
- Users are solely responsible for their interactions and agreements.
7. Privacy and Data Use
- BigWish does not share user data with third parties.
- BigWish may send promotional offers and updates to users via email or within the App. Users can choose to opt out of such communications.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
BigWish reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for reasons including but not limited to:
- Violating these Terms
- Engaging in fraudulent or inappropriate activities
- Submitting false or misleading information
Users will be notified of account suspension or termination where possible.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of the App must first be resolved amicably between the parties involved. If an agreement cannot be reached, users may seek mediation or arbitration as per applicable laws.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
BigWish reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Canadian jurisdiction.
